Each division elects a representative and an alternate during the first two weeks of the new school year.

School spirit committee meetings

The Student Council is dedicated to serving as the voice of the student population. The student population voted Angelo Lara, our president, as their Local School Council student member. We look forward to developing activities and events geared to foster positive school spirit.

Student Council members designed a Schurz bulldog for our T-shirts. The proceeds of all Student Council fund raising activities are used for scholarships for selected senior Student Council members.
