Summer vacation will soon be here. We all know children and teens need good nutrition all year round. When school closes for the summer, all children through age eighteen can enjoy free, nutritious meals in safe, supervised programs in many Chicago neighborhoods.

Don’t let your children miss out! Free summer meals programs funded by the U. S. Department of Agriculture will be operating at hundreds of sites…from public schools and community centers to churches, parks and recreation programs and other locations. Many programs don’t require pre-registration; your children can just walk in. Some programs also offer enrichment and fitness activities to keep children healthy and learning throughout the summer.

For information about locations, dates and times of meal service in your area, contact any of the organizations below. Best information will be available after May 15.
